I along with my team members went on a trip last weekend. After days of discussion, we all united on decision to go to Kanatal. To add fun to the trip, we decided first to watch a movie together and then to start the trip. We watched the movie ‘Unknown’. It wasn’t a great watch but was a good one and reminded all of us of ‘Bourne Identity’.
Kanatal
Our journey started with a setback of our transport being late by an hour and a half. We were unable to contact driver or even the owner which added to the anxiety.
Kanatal, 300 km far from Delhi at an altitude of over 8500 feet ( approx. 2500 ft above from Mussoorie, 38 kms far from it). We stayed in Swiss camps there; tents were made up of Aluminium sheet and cloth type tent fabric. Other than Camping, other adventurous activities which we did at there were hiking, trekking, rappelling, valley crossing. Our whole day was consumed in doing these activities and they were quite a fun. At night, a bonfire was arranged with snacks and tea.
The Camps
I wanted to go to some peaceful, natural place from this metro’s life since long. Plus it was a relief for a while from Delhi’s summer. Although I experienced lack of energy due to my bad health but I connected with my team members there, which added a flavor to the trip and subsequent days in team, which made it a good and successful trip. Moreover, I got the benefit of exploring my camera more and got few good clicks.

First of all…awesome clicks!!! Never heard of that place before but now feels like a must visit place. Such places gives u solace and peace as compared to Mussoorie , Ooty etc.
Nicely written and i wished some pics of adventure(hiking etc) but i think it mite be hard to carry camera at such places.
